Are you looking for a future internship??

Are you interested in an internship in your program of studies? You must take the 1 credit prep class that employers want students to take prior to interning. It is not too late to register for SDV106, Preparation for Employment. It will be taught the first 5 weeks of the summer semester. Class meets on Tuesdays, 2-5:00pm, starting May 22.  Any questions can be directed to Gailen Miles at gmiles@virginiawestern.edu or you can call 857-7298.

Customer Service Workshop

Customer Service is not a department. It is not delegated only to those on the front line. Customer Service is EVERYBODY'S Business.

"How you THINK about your customers is how you will treat them." -Bob Farrell.

Are you interested in learning more about Customer Service and how to lead by example? A Customer Service workshop will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2-4 p.m. at the Greenfield Center in Daleville. Transportation will be provided. Space is limited. You must register in the Hall Career Center, S202 before day of the event.  The workshop is FREE.

You do not want to miss this opportunity.

Payment Plans Available for Summer Classes

Students who may have been removed from their classes for non-payment on May 1st, 2012 or students who are now registering for classes are reminded that the college has a tuition payment plan available.

The plan is structured so that the earlier you enroll the lower the down payment required and the greater number of payments you receive.  All plans require a non-refundable $25.00 transaction fee at the time of enrollment; however you will be protected from enrollment cancellation throughout the entire period, provided you are making your payments on-time as planned.

The college has extended the payment plan options for Summer 2012 Semester.  If you enroll by May 8, 2012, you will be required to pay 50% down and will be given two additional payments on May 20th and June 20th to pay the full amount of your tuition.

Students may sign up for the payment plan at http://virginiawestern.edu

Step by step instructions for signing up are provided at http://www.virginiawestern.edu/studenthelp/student/tuitionpaymentplan.php
