Valley View Mall will be extending its hours this weekend honor of Virginia tax holiday.   • "Migrant Voices" (6:30-7:30 pm) @ Taubman Museum of Art. The Roanoke Children's Theatre will perform this short play bringing to life the women depicted in Dorothea Lange's photographs of the Great Depression. 342-5760.
  • Art By Night (5-9 pm) @ Downtown Roanoke. Featuring exhibits, demonstrations, refreshments, live music and interactions with local artists. More than 120 artists participate in conjunction with 10 downtown Roanoke galleries. www.roanokeartbynight.com
