Changes in financial aid regulations for Return of Title IV funds mandate that our current procedure for populating the Last Date of Attendance field on the final grade roster be modified. These changes will become effective with summer 2012 grade processing and continue for all future terms.

A document which outlines the new instructions for the Last Date of Attendance field and how this field should be populated is available online under Faculty Resources at http://virginiawestern.edu/facstaff/. All faculty should review this document and become familiar with these changes. Failure to populate this field correctly could result in significant issues for the student and the college.

Melena Mara, a photojournalist with the Washington Post is looking for women to participate in the American Voters Poll in Virginia Series. To enter the Best Dessert Contest, just bring your favorite dessert and a panel of sweet-toothed judges will judge the culinary creations and declare a winner. The judges reserve the right to second helpings in order to make an unbiased and impartial decision.
