UTS offers a defensive driving course which includes a short classroom session built around the three “D’s” (Decisive, Defensive, Dependable) of safe driving. After the classroom portion of the course, the participant is led on a city driving session, during which the trainer will observe the practical application of the 3D material. The participant will receive the results of this road test, feedback from the trainer’s analysis of their driving habits, and a defensive driving certificate to acknowledge the completion of the course. The 3D Driving Course is recommended for new University employees who will be expected to regularly operate motor vehicles as a part of their core responsibilities.
UTS is currently not scheduling defensive driving courses.
