Be Involved: Ride Sharing
TDM: Transportation Demand Management
Carpools and vanpools are easy, inexpensive, and convenient ways to save money on your commute while meeting new people and helping the environment.
Parking and Transportation is pleased to offer an incentives program for U.Va faculty and staff who are actively involved in a carpool or vanpool. Those employees who are interested in saving money and the environment by participating in a carpooling program can now receive benefits from Parking and Transportation including discounted permits, free occasional parker permits, and even a dedicated space in a parking lot depending on the amount of riders in a program.
