Director: Jennifer Van Winkle has a BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and is the Education Program Coordinator for the University of Virginia Art Museum. She is the founder of Summer Arts and directed the program from 2001 to 2003.
Manager: Stacey Evans has a BFA in photography from Savannah College of Art and Design and operates her own freelance art, photography, and consulting business. Stacey was the photography arts educator from 2002 to 2005.
Eliza Martin has a Bachelors degree in Studio Art with a concentration in painting and photography and a Masters degree from the Curry School of Education at the University of Virginia. She was an arts educator with Summer Arts in 2004; currently she works as an artist, attends residency programs and teaches.
Rob Tarbell has a BFA in graphic design from Auburn University and holds two master's degrees from University of Tennessee, an MFA in Painting and Drawing and an MS in Curriculum and Instruction. He was an arts educator with Summer Arts in 2002 and 2003. He currently works as an artist and adjunct faculty member at VCU and PVCC.
Presentation Artist: Paul Wagner is an Academy Award-winning independent filmmaker who has produced and directed more than thirty films over a thirty-year career. His films express his eclectic interests and filmmaking styles, unified by an interest in the nature of the human condition. He will present his work during Sessions I & II.
Teaching Assistants: University students will lead activities and assist art educators.
