Pilot Teams will submit two interim reports and a final report to the ALO Steering Group and/or Pilot Team Award Committee. The first interim report will provide an update on the progress of the development phase of the model course. The final report will include all Pilot Team deliverables, assessment results of the Pilot project, and a description of planned or recommended next steps.
Dissemination of Pilot Courses
The ALO Steering Group will identify a process that facilitates access to the model courses by faculty who wish to review, adopt, or adapt them. Pilot Teams will implement the strategy they identified in their Pilot Team Application to promote the model courses and to provide appropriate professional development (e.g. webinars, VCCS Peer Group and New Horizons Conference presentations, and Center for Teaching Excellence events). Program materials developed or created by individuals employed by the VCCS are subject to Section 12, Intellectual Property, of the VCCS Policy Manual. When allowed under VCCS Policy, all project deliverables developed with VCCS grant funds will be licensed with an Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike Creative Commons license.
