IT Accessibility
As programs, services, resources, and opportunities to carry the Virginia Community College's Vision are increasingly provided using electronic and information technology (EIT), the need becomes especially critical that VCCS EIT be accessible to all users, including individuals with disabilities.
Accessibility standards and guidelines help those who acquire, develop and use EIT and those who make purchasing decisions. The application of accessibility standards and guidelines ensures that EIT at the VCCS is accessible to all users. This web site provides resources and opportunities for community involvement toward ensuring that the VCCS is, and continues to be, a place where everyone can learn, grow, and participate.
The lists of documents and information was compiled with input from different colleges within the Virginia Community College System, and is a work in progress.
