Want to see your design in print? For its users convenience, the Digital Media Studio offers color poster printing in addition to regular color printing.
While regular color prints are generally available immediately, posters take somewhat longer. We reccomend submitting your order at least 24 hours in advance, but during busy times it may take multuiple days. Please check with the staff on duty for an estimated completion time when you submit your order.

  • The maximum print size in the DMS is 42" x 72".
  • There is a charge for all posters that must be paid at time of order. Charges are payable by Mav Express ID ( Mav Money) or departmental IDT.
  • Posters must be ordered and paid for in the DMS. We do not accept file submissions or payments via email.
  • You can request up to 6 copies on an order.
  • After the first order, additonal orders may require an additonal 24 hours to complete.
  • To prevent delay, please let the DMS staff review your poster before ordering.

3D Printing and Scanning

Libraries offer 3D printing and scanning to UT Arlington students, faculty, and staff

Do you want to transform your ideas into three dimensions? The UT Arlington Libraries is launching a new 3D printing and scanning service. Located in the Digital Media Studio at the Central Library, students, faculty, and staff have access to a NextEngine 3D Scanner HD and the MakerBot Replicator 2X 3D printer.

“UT Arlington Libraries is the first library in the UT System to offer 3D scanning and printing to all students and faculty, regardless of major or class level,” said Rebecca Bichel, Dean of UT Arlington Libraries. “By bringing these emerging technologies to the entire UT Arlington community, we want to foster the creation of new knowledge, explore new ideas, and aid in the development of transformative innovations.”
