Getting Involved
The University of Montana Foundation offers both paid and volunteer opportunities.
For Students
Student callers are hired for the fall and spring phonathons to telephone alumni, parents and friends asking for their support for the University. Sarayl Yellowhorse, annual giving coordinator, oversees the phonathons. To apply for a phonathon caller position, please visit the Student Employment website and fill out the online application.
For Missoulians
The Missoula Business Drive for the Excellence Fund is a peer-to-peer solicitation conducted each fall. For volunteers, it is an opportunity to assist the University and build relationships with other business and professional people in the community. Staff Positions
The UM Foundation staff includes fundraisers, development services personnel, operations and support staff. For information on employment view the Employment Opportunities page, or contact Roberta Townsend, director of human resources.
Board of Trustees
Overseeing The University of Montana Foundation is a 40-member board of trustees who meet twice annually. Board members may serve two three-year terms. The positions are non-paid.
