Eligible employees of The University of Montana participate in a mandatory retirement plan. Several supplemental retirement options are available, as well. For more information, contact one of the following vendors.
Supplement Retirement Plans, (called SRA’s), allow you to save extra money for retirement over and above any contributions you may make to an employer-mandated retirement plan. Contributions are pre-tax and must be made through payroll deduction. All non-student employees who receive paychecks through UM payroll are eligible to contribute to The University of Montana’s 403(b) or 457(b) SRA’s. There are currently six tax sheltered SRA options available.TIAA-CREF
