Netid/Password Search Errors

There are several errors which can occur during either process.  Some are simple, such as not following the password formulation rules or putting information into the verification form that does not match University records.

Some errors contain descriptive error messages such as,

  • You are not a currently enrolled student
  • You must provide your first name
  • You must provide your last name
  • You must provide either your Social Security Number or your Temporary Control Number
  • Your SSN, Name, Birth date, Gender or SSN do not match your University records

In these cases you should confirm your information and try again.  If you have verified but continue to get these errors contact the ITS Technology Support Center.
