Center for Business and Regulation
A center devoted to educating the UIS and broader communities about regulation in business. Part of the College of Business and Management at UIS.
Center for First Year Students
Helps first year students navigate their time at UIS in order to graduate on time and launch a career.
Center for State Policy and Leadership
Devoted to educating scholars, students, and the general public about public policy. Houses nine sections and manages the Graduate Public Service Internship Program as well as the Illinois Legislative Staff Internship Program.
Center for Teaching and Learning
Offers one-on-one tutoring in math, writing, reading, science, and study skills. Hosts student workshops on study skills and Help House a few times each semester.
Publications of the Center for State Policy and Leadership, including scholarly and journalistic works on state public policy and state government. Publishes the monthly magazine Illinois Issues.
Central Illinois Nonprofit Resource Center (CINRC)
A Cooperating Collection of the Foundation Center. Provides grant-writing and fund-raising resources both in print and electronically (databases). Lists federal grant sites and philanthropic organizations on the website.

Community of Practice for E-Learning (COPE-L)

Community Relations

Educational Leadership Program
The Office of Electronic Media handles all DVDs, CDs, videos, and Internet media for the University’s academic and public service endeavors. It also produces electronic media for state government, local groups, and the Center for State Policy and Leadership. It maintains the UIS Campus Channel.

Notifications of severe weather reports, campus safety and security, emergency notification system, and links to the UIS police website.
The Alfred O. and Barbara Cordwell Therkildsen Field Station at Emiquon.
A site jointly maintained by The Nature Conservancy and UIS, the Field Station supports UIS courses and student and faculty research on restoring the site on the Illinois River. It is about 45 miles northwest of Springfield.
