The mission of the ITL is to help UIC faculty make use of computer technology and Web-based solutions to enhance teaching and learning. The ITL also serves as a test bed for new technology applications in computing and education.

IP Videoconferencing (IPVC) supports two-way video and audio communication over the Internet, between two or more locations.
ACCC e-Rooms (aka Centra Symposium) is an easy to use Web Conferencing system for real-time teaching and collaboration.
The ITL runs a Flash Media Streaming Server (FMSS) that can deliver video and other multimedia content over the Internet.
