  • 2013 International K-12 Teacher of the Year Award The 2013 International K-12 Teacher of the Year Award winner is Donald DeVito from Sidney Lanier Center School. In second and third place were Maria Eugenia Zelaya from Eastside High School and Judith Weaver from High Springs Community School. Robert Ponzio from Oak Hall School received an Honorable Mention. The awards were given on Wednesday, May 8 at the UF International Center during a reception honoring the awardees along with school representatives, family and friends. Finalists and their corresponding schools will receive a monetary award.

International Student Speakers Bureau - ISSB

ISSB is a group of international and study abroad students from the University of Florida who volunteer to teach local school children about their home and host countries. The goal of the program is to promote global awareness among K-12 students.

UFIC holds the Annual Global Culture Photography Competition every year during the Fall semester. You can participate in one of the three categories: Study Abroad Students; International Students, Scholars and Employees; and Faculty, Staff and Alumni.
