Patients of the UAB School of Optometry are provided care in a variety of settings.  The main clinic, UAB Eye Care, is located in the heart of the medical center where interns, residents, faculty members, and specialists collaborate to provide the best care for each patient.  UAB Eye Care has several clinical services that are focused on the particular need of the patient, such as Ocular Disease and Low Vision, Cornea and Contact Lens, and Pediatric Optometry.  The clinic also provides care in many outside settings, including school vision screenings, nursing homes, health departments, the Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind, and other locations that benefit the community.  The University Optometric Group, located just a few blocks from the School, is a faculty practice where patients can have a more personalized visit.
