John Welch BFA exhibit on display at Craft Center April 8-14     

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (April 6, 2008) — John Welch will present his bachelor of fine arts senior thesis exhibition in fibers, entitled, “Out of the Cave and Into the Condo,” April 8-14 in Gallery One of the Appalachian Center for Craft.

An artist’s reception is set for 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 12.

Welch explores modern life through one of the world’s most iconic plush forms, the bear.

The Appalachian Center for Craft is located approximately six miles from Interstate 40 at Exit 273 (Smithville/McMinnville). Go south on Highway 56 and turn left immediately after crossing Hurricane Bridge. This drive leads to the Craft Center.
