Registered Student Organizations Names Class AdvisorHonorary Organization (HO)
Honorary Organizations have admission standards or special requirements such as grade point average, field of study, number of hours completed or participation in other organizations. They serve to honor or recognize students for special achievements.Departmental Organizations (DE)
Departmental organizations are organizations that relate to a certain area of study. Some organizations restrict membership to students in that major.Religious Organizations (RE)
Religious organizations are organizations that serve to enhance a student’s spiritual life while providing a social life beyond the classroom.Residence Hall Organizations (RH)
Residence hall organizations are organizations that plan activities, assess the needs and help develop policy for campus residents.Service Organizations (SE)
Service organizations are organizations that participate and plan community and campus service projects. These organizations also provide a social opportunity for students.Special Interest Organizations (SI)
Special Interest organizations are organizations that do not limit membership to a certain field of study. They serve to enhance life through the co-curricular involvement of special interests and hobbies.Greeks (GR)
These social organizations serve to enhance a student’s social life while providing many activities outside the classroom. Fraternities and sororities participate in countless community service, intramural, scholarship, leadership and campus programs.Sport Organizations (SP)
Sports organizations participate in activities relating to an interest in a certain sport or sports.
