Welcome to the Provost’s web site. The name Provost has an interesting history dating back to early British universities. In contemporary American universities, the title of Provost is usually synonymous with that of Chief Academic Officer. At Temple, the Provost leads and administers all academic and research programs on all campuses of the University.
We welcome visitors to our office and urge you to contact us if you would like more information or have concerns about any of the academic areas.
