Total Wellness is the University's new revitalized comprehensive wellness program. This program is for you and will assist you in taking a more holistic approach to wellness, moving beyond physical fitness and providing you with a personalized on-line health assistant to guide you throughout your wellness journey.


Annual Health & Wellness Fair

The 13th Annual Health & Wellness Fair is on Wed., April 22nd in Mitten Hall’s Great Court from 11 am to 3pm. Receive a free biometric screening, enjoy a mini massage and talk with many Temple providers and other health professionals. Mark your Calendars for Wed., April 22nd to attend the fair and earn points toward your Total Wellness Rewards.

National Walk at Lunch Day - Wednesday April 29th

Join your co-workers for a walk during lunch. Walking is one of the easiest and best ways to get and stay in shape. So make a pledge to take a walk with your coworkers. The walk will begin at 12 Noon on Wed., April 29th at different locations throughout the University.

Ofc. Richard Nagy. Temple Police Officer Richard Nagy is on the road to better health, thanks in large part to his committment to Temple's Total Wellness program. When Temple Police Officer Richard Nagy attended a biometric screening in 2011, his cholesterol of 280 and blood pressure of 215/115 were so high, he needed to sign a waiver declining medical treatment in order to leave. Program Success and Results

"Hit Your Stride" Walking Challenge - The 8 week walking challenge ended November 21, 2014. The winning team and the top three overall walkers each received a Total Wellness gym bag and one entry into the grand prize drawing. View the winning participants.

Ready! Set! Move! Challenge is an 8 week team walking challenge that ended June 30, 2014. The top Team is Pearson Hall with the most activity minutes logged during the 8 week challenge. There were 20 teams with 302 employees participating in the challenge. Each member of the winning team and the top three overall performers will receive a Total Wellness gym bag and one entry into the grand prize drawling. View the list of the winning participants.
