About Government Relations
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the City of Philadelphia and the Federal Government are critical partners in fulfilling the historic mission of Temple University. The support of these governments allows Temple to provide access to excellence for our students and to support groundbreaking research that changes the lives of people around the world.
The Office of Government Relations works to foster healthy relationships with elected officials in Philadelphia, Harrisburg, and Washington D.C. The office serves as the primary liaison between the university community and governments on all levels, connecting governments to the many services offered by Temple and representing the university's interests.
The support of the Temple University community is crucial to these efforts, and we encourage all Temple alumni, students, faculty and friends to engage in the political process in support of the university. This site serves as a tool for keeping current on the important legislative matters facing the university and community at large. Check in regularly to stay updated on our efforts and to find out about opportunities to engage in the legislative process and advocate for Temple.
