CLEP Testing
The College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) provides students with an opportunity to earn college credit for the knowledge and skills gained both inside and outside the classroom. Exams are offered in 34 different subject areas that cover the first two years of college. Each exam is 90 minutes long and made up of primarily multiple choice questions, except English Composition, which also includes an essay.
All examinations are computer-based. Students can view their score immediately after completing the exam, except for the English Composition exam. English Composition essays are graded by College Board selected English professors from two- and four-year institutions nationwide. Scoring of the essay takes one month.
