Testing Centers

The primary mission of the Testing Centers is to provide institutional testing to the campus community. The Testing Center will provide a quality environment where students are encouraged to achieve to the best of their abilities, to facilitate accurate course placement, and to assure that the highest level of testing standards are maintained.

Completion of the entire placement test averages 4-6 hours.

You are encouraged to take the English and Math tests at separate times.

Valid Photo ID is required

IMPORTANT NOTE ON PLACEMENT TESTING:

Please arrive at least 3 hours prior to closing. Placement tests will NOT be started any later than 3 hours before the posted closing time.

IMPORTANT NOTE ON ALL OTHER TESTS:
All proctored exams must be started two hours prior to closing. Exams will NOT be started any later than two hours before the posted closing time.

Testing Center

Please bring a valid photo ID (TCC is preferred). Two photos are required for the majority of tests, please see table listed above.

The following are not permitted inside the Testing Centers:

• Personal Items
• Electronic Devices
• Other Unauthorized Materials
• Food and Drinks
• Children
• Parents and visitors who are not testing

Review testing guidelines and arrive early to allow sufficient time to complete your test.

Please contact your Campus Testing Center via email at least one week in advance for any test that requires an appointment.

TCC Faculty Proctored Exams

Testing Center

Proctoring services and testing for students needing special accommodations are available for campus faculty. TCC Instructors should review the Procedures for Submitting an Exam/Test and complete the online Testing Center Services Request Form.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Makeup up exams will not be administered during Finals Week. Only finals for students with accommodations and online/hybrid classes will be administered during Final Exams week. Early Finals or makeup Finals are not administered in the Testing Center.
