Her professional experience includes counseling in anger management and conflict resolution. Additionally, Damrose-Mahlmann provides career and career transition counseling to students seeking first careers and those in career transition. The college named her its 2007 Administrator of the Year in recognition of her work in promoting opportunities for leadership, training and mentoring among TCC employees and students. She holds a B.A. in psychology from Christopher Newport University and an M.S.Ed. in counseling from Old Dominion University.
