Dr. Dolgalev is a faculty member in the CADD program at the Virginia Beach Campus. He holds a Master of Architecture degree from Moscow Architectural Institute and a Ph.D. from the Central Research and Design Institute. He also had post-doctoral training at Syracuse University. Mr. Denison has been teaching for TCC as an adjunct instructor in the Civil Engineering Technology program since 1992. He teaches Concrete Technology, Civil Materials and Masonry. Bringing over 28 years of industrial experience to the classroom, he holds several industrial certifications including the American Concrete Institute (ACI) Concrete Field Testing Technician, ACI Flatwork Technician, VDOT Field Inspector, VDOT Plant Technician, University of Maryland NRMCA Certified Concrete Technologist Level 2, 3 and 4, and the North Carolina Department of Transportation Division of Highways certification. Mr. Denison also maintains membership to several professional organizations including ASTM, Hampton Roads Concrete Advisory Council, The Green Building Council of America, Post Tensioning Institute, American Society of Highway Engineers, The Precast Concrete Institute, ACI, and TCC Civil Engineering Technology Curriculum Advisory Board. |

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southwestern Louisiana. Mr. Hebert is a 2002 graduate of the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Leadership Development Program. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Virginia. |

Professor Michael Plumb is the Program Head for the Industrial Engineering Technology Program. He is also adjunct faculty at Old Dominion University, Frank Batten College of Engineering & Technology. He holds a degree in Applied Engineering from the University of Louisville, a Masters Degree in Management from Golden Gate University, and a Ph D in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia. He is a retired naval officer, who served in Explosive Ordnance Disposal, Deep Sea Diving (Mixed Gas) and Salvage, and Expendable Ordnance Management commands. Mr. Jerasa has taught industrial engineering related courses at Tidewater Community College since the spring of 2001. Mr. Jerasa earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Management Technology from Saint LEO College in 1995 and his Masters of Science Degree in Public Administration (MPA) from Troy State University in 1999. Mr. Jerasa is a retired Navy Chief Warrant Officer (CWO 4) and is currently employed by Colonna’s Shipyard Inc. as the Director of Business Development – Government Contracts. |

Mr. Lane retired from the “Commander, Naval Air Force” activity as a GS-14 “Aviation Maintenance Logistics” Civilian Deputy in 2005. |

He also holds a specialist credential with concentrations in Total Quality Mangement and Methods for Managing Quality and Process Improvement. Ekker |
Mr. Ekker is the academic dean for the Division of Engineering and Industrial Technology. Mr. Ekker earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Illinois-Urbana, MBA from Chaminade University of Honolulu, and Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineer Degree from the Naval Post Graduate School. Retiring after 22 years of active duty service in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear trained submarine officer, he joined the Engineering Management and Systems Engineering Department at Old Dominion University as a PhD Graduate Research Assistant where he completed his PhD course work and is currently a PhD candidate. |
