Hello! I am a fourth year majoring in architecture and art history, dabbling in extracurricular marketing. In a world saturated with imagery and the consumption of stories, I am most drawn to the intriguing stories or visuals that break from the norm whether is comes in the form of art, music, film, literature, or any other in the creative world. With architecture, we are often contemplating the fine line between practicality and inventiveness in design and that mentality certainly carries over into conceptualizing grounded marketing strategies in feasibility along with different and new ways we can push the boundaries of publicity. The position of Marketing director as an aspiring architect/designer is a welcome challenge to me, but I’m mainly looking forward to collaborating with my marketing committee and other committees, which will produce the strongest marketing for our events.
The Marketing committee is responsible for supporting the University Programs Council through design, research, advertising, and promotions. We strive to find the best and most innovative methods of publicizing UPC programs to the student body. The director organizes a team of talented creatives to ensure that UPC and its programs are promoted to the highest standard, making use of new and compelling ideas or designs along with comprehensive marketing strategies.
