The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) Research Library is a branch of the New Jersey State Library and is funded by the Federal Highway Administration State Planning and Research Program (FHWA).
The library serves New Jersey state government employees and members of the general public by providing reference and referral services, an online catalog and lending materials on site or by an inter-library loan through another library, photocopying (fee charged), literature searches and notification of new materials.
The Research Library collects documents from a variety of sources, including the Transportation Research Board, FHWA, other State DOT's and NJDOT, particularly its Research Bureau.
The Research Library is located on the third floor of the Main Office Building of the David J. Goldberg Transportation Complex at 1035 Parkway Avenue in Ewing.
Library Staff is available Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. Library services are available in full to New Jersey state employees. The general public may use the collection by e-mail appointment.
