Social Work Professor Sandra Kopels, Recipient of the Campus Award for Excellence in Graduate and Professional Teaching
Sandra Kopels Since 1990, Professor Sandra Kopels has taught Social Work and the Law an astonishing 91 times, reaching over 2,450 MSW students. She has made the List of Teachers Ranked as Excellent all 91 times. Professor Kopels brings complicated concepts to life though humor and a deep appreciation of the law and it's impact on social work practice. As a student said, she "teaches from the heart, using humor as a vehicle through which she is able to teach and inspire." Her peers explain her teaching as a process of rediscovery of the material for each class and each new student.

Additionally, a limited number of greeting card sets based on these designs are available for purchase. All funds raised from the sale of these prints and greeting cards will support future art installations at the School. Click here for more information.
Focus on Field Placement
To support students and the agencies and clients they serve during their internship, we have launched the “Fund for Field” initiative. The goal of the fund is to provide all students with a partial or full scholarship during this critical phase of their education.
