2008 Payroll Withholding/Transit Updates
The withholding tables dated January 1, 2007 will remain in effect for 2008. The withholding formula can be adjusted with the following updates:
- Personal exemption credit: $169
- Standard deduction:
- Federal tax subtraction: $5,600
New transit rates begin January 1, 2008:
- TriMet—0.006618
- Lane—0.0064
