State of Oregon Lodging Tax
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
2008 State Lodging Tax returns will be mailed out March 31, 2008.
Lodging Providers: Beginning January 1, 2006, the State Lodging Tax Program expanded to collect the 1 percent tax on vacation home rentals, tent sites, and most other facilities that charge a fee for transient lodging on a short-term basis. For more information, see our

REGISTERING
NOTE: You must register for the lodging tax program and have a business identification number (BIN) assigned by the Department of Revenue before you can file your returns.
If you haven't registered, see the
lodging tax forms and registration.
Complete the registration form and either:

NEW 2008 LODGING TAX RETURN
The
2008 State of Oregon Lodging Tax Quarterly Return is now available online as a computable form. The online form requires a valid BIN. After you enter a few key figures, this PDF form will automatically calculate your total tax due. When you have completed the form, you will need to print and sign it (keep a copy for your records). Mail both pages of the form and your payment to the address provided on the return. You
cannot send this form electronically.
