Department of Community Colleges and Workforce Development

Welcome    Community Colleges and Workforce Development Logo

Commissioner, Camille Preus
Welcome to our new and improved Web site. We are glad you came to check us out.

The mission of the Department of Community Colleges and Workforce Development is to contribute leadership and resources to increase the skills, knowledge and career opportunities of Oregonians.

The agency, with local education and workforce partners, manages resources from the state of Oregon supporting Oregon’s community colleges; federal resources supporting one-stop career centers, adult basic skills and English as a Second Language (ESL) programs; and lottery funds supporting the Oregon Youth Conservation Corps.

Oregon has 17 independent community colleges and seven LWIAs. A link to each of these organizations is available on this Web site.

We hope you find the Web site helpful and can access the services you are seeking. Please contact our webmaster Terry Bouie if you need additional information.

It is the policy of the State Board of Education and a priority of the Department of Community Colleges and Workforce Development (CCWD) that there will be no discrimination or harassment on the grounds of race, color, sex, marital status, religion, national origin, age or handicap in any educational programs, activities, or employment. Persons having questions about equal opportunity and nondiscrimination should contact the commissioner at CCWD.
