Dr. Robert Graboyes earned his MSHA from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1998 and his PhD in Economics at Columbia University in 2000. He has over 30 years of experience as an economist and an academic with senior fellow appointments for Health and Economics and Healthcare Advisement for the National Federation of Independent Business Research Foundation. He has adjunct academic appointments at Virginia Commonwealth University, George Washington University and the University of Virginia.
Dr. Graboyes focused his PhD program of study on “Indemnities versus Deductibles in Health Insurance: Relative Efficiency in Deterring Low-Benefit Medical Treatments”.
Dr. Graboyes has a long standing history of mentoring and teaching undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students who have an interest in healthcare administration, economics, and finance.
