The Society of Critical Care Medicine's 33rd annual scientific symposium (Virginias & Carolinas chapter)
The Society of Critical Care Medicine will host its 33rd annual Scientific Symposium for the Carolinas/Virginias Chapter at UVA School of Nursing on June 5. “Critical Care through Collaboration” is for advanced practice nurses, physicians, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, among many others, and will focus not only on updates to best practice but offer stirring dialogue and discussion on the most robust ways to collaborate to offer stellar care for our sickest, most critically ill patients. A pharamacology-focused pre-conference takes place on June 4 for advanced practice providers, including topics on updated heart failure and intercranial hypertension management, pain control in the ICU and malignancy related emergencies. CE credits are available for both days.
