This seminar has been organized every year as a part of our school’s celebration of Women’s History Month. In our school over 75% of our students are female. Women, particularly minority women are underrepresented in Science. In this seminar a panel of women scientists and academicians share their challenging journey to a successful career. This seminar had tremendous positive effect to our students who have attended. For example, one presenter said “being a wife and a mom it is difficult to be a good scientist, but it is not impossible; it is very rewarding at the end”.
