Writing In the Disciplines (WID) is part of a CUNY-wide initiative whose mission is to foster discipline-specific student writing.
At Medgar Evers College, courses labeled WID are writing intensive courses designed to introduce students to writing skills particular to a specific discipline, writing skills that professionals in the field actually employ.
