Attention: The deadline for application to the PsyD program is December 1. All materials must be received by this date. Lunch with the Professors
These lunches will be an excellent opportunity for you to get to know the faculty better and for you to be able to ask questions that you might have about courses, stock tips, research opportunities, potential volunteer work/internships, job prospects, transcendental enlightenment, etc. This will help you to decide whose courses to avoid. Also, even though we like you a lot, we do not like you enough to pay for your lunch. We promise that the lively, insightful and entertaining conversation will compensate for you footing the bill for your own meal.
The Psychology Department Book Club will be hosted at the Cabell-Huntington Visitors Bureau in Heritage Station on Thursday, October 8th from 6-7:30pm. We are reading “Thinking, Fast and Slow” by Daniel Kahneman, Nobel Laureate and Professor of Psychology at Princeton University. The book is available on Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Thinking-Fast-Slow-Daniel-Kahneman/dp/0374533555) and in the Marshall University Bookstore. Event flyers are posted in classrooms and will be sent to students by email
