Although professional schools accept students with non-science majors, it is impossible to finish some degree programs in four years and take the science block courses required for admission. However the science block required for admission to professional schools are many of the courses required in most College of Science majors. Thus allowing students to meet professional school requirements and graduate with the required 120 hours.
