Wilbur E. Myers Gallery of Glass

Myers Gallery of Glass

The John Deaver Drinko Library, like the Huntington Museum of Art, has benefited from the generosity of noted glass collector Wilbur E. Myers.  Nearly 400 beautiful glass pieces from his private collection have been donated and placed on display for the enjoyment of Marshall University faculty, students, staff, alumni, and visitors.   Art glass from world renowned craftsmen at such companies as Fostoria, Tiffany Studios, Steuben Glass Works, and the Mt. Washington Glass Co., are represented in this magnificent collection.   The pieces are exhibited on the 3rd floor of the Drinko Library in cabinets specially designed by master craftsman John Kellner to permit viewing from both front and back.

Join us on a brief virtual tour of the collection.
