PALCI has recently made some changes to EZBorrow. The first thing you will notice once you log into the new EZBorrow page is that you no longer are asked to choose a group when searching for a material. Now, EZBorrow will be searching ALL of our partner libraries at the same time, making your experience easier and faster. When your search results load, you will notice that you can select items even while the search page is loading
The item screen is also different. Now, when you come across an item that isn’t available for request or is available here at Marshall, EZBorrow will let you know, providing links to IDS/ILL if the item isn’t available, or links to our library catalog if we own it.
Since these changes are new, we expect that you will occasionally find things that you’d like to see changed or fixed, so let us know. Contact us at ezborrow@marshall.edu or call or stop by the Drinko Circulation Desk for assistance.
Search and borrow books and music scores directly from 50 academic libraries in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey simultaneously. Your requested items will arrive usually within 3-5 business days. You will be notified via email when the book or score is available for you to check out at the Drinko Library Circulation Desk or MUGC Library.
If an item you search for cannot be found in the EZBorrow system, simply log into Information Delivery Services and place a request from there.
Occasionally you will find an item in EZBorrow, that simply is not available for checkout. In this case, a message should show up in the middle of the screen, directing you to the IDS/ILL login page via a link. Simply follow the link and request the item by filling out the appropriate request form and the item’s citation info (you can always check websites like Amazon.com for a title’s citation info if you don’t have it handy).
If you receive an error message of any sort, contact our EZBorrow staff at ezborrow@marshall.edu or call or stop by the Drinko Circulation Desk for assistance.
