One-Stop Library

Article Databases - There are close to 100 full text databases and e-book collections accessible through the Mu Library webpage. You will need your 901 number to log into these resources from any location that is off-campus. If you need help, consult our Off Campus Library Services page for instructions
Library Catalog - The MU Library catalog provides a listing of both print and electronic resources housed by all of the university libraries. Set up a myLibrary account and manage your research needs online. Set your myLibrary account to inform you of new books and overdue notices.
Journals - Find out which journals the libraries house online and in print format by searching our comprehensive database directly from the Mu Library homepage.
Google Scholar - If you are a Google power-user, the MU resources are also included in your searches if you use the Google Scholar box provided on the MU Library homepage.
IDS (Information Delivery Services) - A web service that lets Marshall University students, faculty, and staff submit interlibrary loan requests, track the status of their requests, and get articles/book chapters delivered electronically.
EZ-Borrow - Search and borrow books and music scores directly from over 80 academic libraries online simultaneously. Your requested items will arrive usually within 3-5 business days. You will be notified via email when the book or score is available for you to check out at the Drinko Library Circulation Desk or MUGC Library.
Ask A Librarian - Access a chat box on the library webpage and request research assistance. The MU librarians can provide you with one-on-one, personalized attention for in-depth research. We also help students cite and reference their term papers and provide a variety of research guides, help services, instructional videos, and library basics to get you started with online research.
Library Homepage - Search for books, journals, government documents, special collections, or other resources using the MU Library Homepage as your launch point for all your research needs. Search boxes are provided on the front of the page for your convenience along with hours for all facilities and access to several other research and library services.
