Online Application Instructions

1) You will have to request official transcripts from each college, university, and law school attended. These transcripts must be sent directly from each educational institution. (If you received a degree from The University of Alabama School of Law, it will not be necessary to have that transcript sent. The transcript is on file.)

2) Click the link at the bottom of the page to begin your online application. It will take you to an Admission Log-in page. There you will click “First time user account creation.” Create a Login ID and PIN. Your Login ID can be up to nine alphanumeric characters. Your PIN must be six numbers. Enter your PIN again to verify it and then select Login. Your Login ID and PIN will be saved. Do not use your social security number as your Login ID. Next you should select “Create a New Admissions Application” In The Application Menu select “School of Law LL.M. Programs” and follow the instructions as provided. In the first section called “Planned course of study,” select either LL.M. Concentration in Business Transactions or LL.M. Concentration in Taxation.

3) If you are applying before May 1, you may receive a waiver of the application fee. At the bottom of the Application Checklist page after you have completed the application, you will see an empty text box just above the button “Application is complete. “Enter “May1″ in that box to receiver the waiver. Click here too see an image of the fee waiver box.  If you complete your application after May 1, you will be taken to a page where you will need to pay a $50 nonrefundable application fee. Credit Cards accepted: Visa, MasterCard, or Discover.
