International Study Opportunities
JD/MBA students have the option to participate in an exchange program between The University of Alabama School of Law and University of Fribourg in Switzerland. Under the direction of Professor Kenneth Rosen, students travel to Switzerland during the summer to participate in a five-week study focused on comparative and international banking and finance, international arbitration, and a survey of Swiss law.
This past summer, nine Alabama Law students participated, where they enjoyed the unique opportunity to team up with European students for a mock arbitration at a local law firm. They also participated in an exercise exploring how lawyers help international banks operate in foreign jurisdictions.
The Law School also offers study-abroad opportunities with the Australian National University in Canberra.
