CUNY Online Admission Application unavailable

You've decided to apply for admission at LaGuardia Community College; congratulations on taking charge of your future! To help you prepare and complete your application as quickly as possible, review the following checklist before submitting your application online with CUNY:
1. Get to know us. Attend an information session, review our academic calendar, and choose a major.
2. Be on time. Check the dates and deadlines for admission and financial aid applications.
If the deadline for CUNY admission has passed, LaGuardia offers
Direct Admit for eligible applicants.
3. Cover your costs. Check the tuition and fees for attending LaGuardia, and submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
4. Select your status. Know what type of applicant you are and which application to file.
There are five types of applicants to LaGuardia:
1. Freshman Applicants
2. Transfer Students
3. International Students
4. Adult Learners
5. Veterans and Military Personnel
Depending on the type of applicant you are, you will have to submit either a General Freshman Application or Transfer Application to CUNY; or register for classes through our Adult and Continuing Education program.
You must also decide whether you'll be attending as a Day/Extended Day student.
5. Download an Admission Application Worksheet. If you're submitting your application to CUNY, this worksheet will give you a preview of the questions you'll need to answer so that you may gather the appropriate information. Be sure to download and complete the proper Application Worksheet.
6. Create a CUNY Portal Account. You must register in order to submit your application online. The CUNY Portal also allows you to check the status of your admission and financial aid applications.
7. Follow through. Complete your application by submitting all supporting document to CUNY. Once you've been admitted, submit your Commitment Deposit, immunization records and take all required placement tests. Review the After You Apply check list.
Readmission/Reinstatement
Students returning to LaGuardia after being away for one semester or more must file for Readmission/Reinstatement with the Registrar in the Enrollment Services Center, Room C107. There is a $10 processing fee payable at the Bursar Office, Room MB55. The deadline for readmission is generally 3 to 4 weeks prior to the start of the semester.
