My Turn 

The My Turn Spring 2016 Registration will be held on

Monday, February 29th from 10:00am – 1:00pm in the

Regina Peruggi Academic Village, Room V219.

If you are interested in attending the spring semester, please contact the My Turn office at 718-368-5079 to request an application. Applications for New and Readmit students are due in our office on or before Wednesday, February 10th.

The My Turn Program has been selected as the 2006 recipient of the Mind Alert Award. This award is sponsored by the American Society on Aging and MetLife.

What is "My Turn"?

My Turn

"My Turn"is the name of a very special tuition-free college education program being offered at Kingsborough Community College. The program is open to New York State residents who are 60 years of age or older by the first day of class of the fall or spring semester for which they are applying.

Kingsborough Community College offer seniors a great opportunity to attend regular college classes in a beautiful campus setting at Manhattan Beach with traditional students.

In addition, the My Turn Program has activities such as guest speakers, discussions groups, end of term parties, trips, and other activities.

All New York state residents age 60 or over are eligible. There are no previous educational requirements.

My Turn students:

Do not pay tuition, only an $80 registration fee.

Facilities available include access to the library, gym, pool, tennis courts and private beach.

Fall and spring semesters are 12 weeks. Winter and summer are 6 weeks. Daytime, evening and weekend classes are available.
