It is possible to obtain a master’s degree en route for students enrolled in the doctoral program. This generally occurs after the completion of 45 credits, and sucessful defense of the first doctoral examination. Students must apply in order to recieve the en route masters.

It is important to note that the Masters Program in Forensic Psychology at John Jay College is separate from the Doctoral Program in Psychology and is a terminal MA degree program.
