Classroom Lab Support Services (CLSS) administers the Laptop Loan Center to provide computers for short term use to John Jay College students. It is conveniently located at the main entrance to the CLSS Student Computer Lab Center, room L2.72.00 NB.

CLSS introduced the student program to provide an alternative personalized computing experience via compute-anywhere mobile computers. Currently, Mac and PC laptops are available. With John Jay College wireless network connectivity pre-configured and productivity software such as MS Office, SPSS and others pre-installed, students can be productive with these laptops immediately upon receiving them according to the loan procedure.  The laptop loan procedure simply requires students to pre-register and agree to the loan policies, then present their valid JJC student ID cards at the Laptop Loan Center.
