Becoming a Member of the IVC

To become a member of the IVC, an institution must meet the following criteria:

Be a college or university chartered in Illinois (for institutions in operation before 1961)

or, authorized to operate and grant degrees by the State of Illinois or the Illinois Board of Higher Education (for institutions established after 1961)

and be accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association.

You can display your institution or program in the main box on the left side, or feature a new program on the right side. Contact Teri Karpman for more information.

Updating Your Course and Program Information

Please keep your course and program information up to date. Students can view the "Last updated on..." for each course and they will pass over out-of- date course information.

Update Your Courses by Spreadsheet Import

If your IT team can produce an export of course information from your enterprise information system once a term and populate a simple spreadsheet, IVC can import the spreadsheet and thereby keep your course information fresh each term. Contact Ali Banihashem to obtain the spreadsheet to share with your IT team.

Distance Education Enrollment Reporting

Information on submitting your institution's distance education enrollment data can be found here. The most recent distance education report can be found here, and the archive of past reports can be found here.
