The IGB has provided a solid foundation for future growth in the state of Illinois. Our scientists have generated more than 75 invention disclosures, 35 patent applications, and over a thousand scholarly journal articles since the founding of the Institute.

IGB is home to a number of scientific conferences, workshops and symposia throughout the year. We also host a speaker series, "Pioneers in Genomic Biology" which showcases world-renowned scientists from institutions around the world.
