School of Education Undergraduate Programs

Hunter College has three undergraduate teacher education programs.

QUEST is for students who wish to become childhood teachers (grades 1-6).

ADOLESCENT EDUCATION is for students who wish to become middle or high school teachers of a particular subject (grades 7-12).

PRE K - 12 PROGRAMS - The Dance Education program is for students who wish to become dance teachers in grades preK-12.

Both programs require that students apply after they have been accepted to Hunter. The application process involves an online application, a writing sample and an interview.  Students must apply by October 15 for the spring term and by March 15 for the fall term. The applications are only available from the first day of each term until the deadline.  The links to the applications for admission are below.
