Continuing Education classroom locations are listed on each course's page on this website. Just find the course and section you are registered for and look underneath the section schedule for the location of the course. If you do not see a location listed, please call 212-650-3850 or e-mail email@example.com for the classroom location.
Daytime, Saturday, and Computer Classes*
HN = N = Hunter North. This building is located on East 69th Street between Lexington and Park Avenues. The entrance is on the South side of 69th Street. Room numbers that begin with a C are located one floor below the first floor. There is one computer lab in this building in room C104N.
HW = W = Hunter West. This building is located on the Southwest corner of the intersection of 68th Street and Lexington Avenue. It has a large, black sculpture in front of the entrance.
HE = E = Hunter East. This building is located on the Southeast corner of the intersection of 68th Street and Lexington Avenue. There is a flower stand near the entrance to the building. You must take an elevator, located near the entrance of the library, to get to the classrooms in this building. The Continuing Education computer lab is located in this building on the 10th floor (room E1002).
TH = Thomas Hunter. This building is located on Lexington Avenue between 68th and 69th Streets. The entrance is on the West side of 68th Street, a large, red door. The building is often called "The Castle" because it resembles one. This is the location of the Reading and Writing Center, on the 4th Floor, where some computer courses are held.
All of the above buildings can be reached by taking the 6 Train to the 68th Street - Hunter College stop.
*Most computer courses, afternoon courses and weekend courses are located in these campus buildings; however, occasionally they may be held at our other campus locations.
Hunter College Campus Schools (CS, 71 E 94 ST): This is the location of Hunter College High School and can be reached by taking the 6 Train to the 96th Street stop. The address is 71 East 94th Street, between Park and Madison Avenues. The entrance is on the North side of 94th Street. Most of the evening courses are held at this location. The room locations are listed in the front entrance, and there are CE staff members present to help you find your classroom.
*Most evening classes are held at the Hunter College Campus Schools; however, some classes may be held at the 68th Street Campus.
Additional Hunter College Locations
Brookdale (425 East 25th Street, 13th Floor North): This is Hunter College's Campus of the Schools of Health Science, located on East 25th Street and 1st Avenue. The entrance is on the North Side of 25th Street, halfway down the block. This is also the location of Hunter College's dormitories.
